First Aid
Throughout the event there will be well trained First Aid providers on-site. They will be available to treat minor injuries and to assist in the event of a more serious injury.

Because dorm rooms will not be locked and to maintain safety of students and leaders, all prescription and non-prescription medication will be handed in to our onsite First Aid staff. First Aid staff will be available throughout the weekend to dispense individual medications. Exceptions will be made for certain rapid response medications, in consultation with the First Aid Staff. For more information on the process please refer to the Online Youth Leader Training.

If there are additional questions or concerns please contact the EMC Office.

Preparing your

Youth Group

This weekend is focused on discipleship, growing in faith and desire to follow Jesus. Throughout the weekend there will be opportunities for your group to share and interact with each other about the ways that they are being encouraged in their faith. We would encourage you to take time with your group prior to the event to practice sharing with each other in groups. Build relationship and connection as a group. This can be accomplished by serving together, worshipping together and even working together in fundraising events.

As part of our theme we will be focusing on Philippians 3. In your group time, we would encourage you to read through the passage a bunch of times together. Familiarity will help teaching to connect and last.

We would also encourage you as youth leaders to pray regularly for the students from your group. Pray that they would respond to God’s love in real and authentic ways.

Take time to communicate with parents about the event. Help to answer their questions and build trust with them. There is a “For Parents/FAQ” page that can help answer questions that parents may have.

We are looking forward to a great weekend together!

THank You!

We acknowledge that this weekend involves a significant investment of time and energy from you as a youth leader. We want to say thank you!
Your investment in the lives of your youth group will have long lasting value. We are praying for each of you as you lead your group as we approach this weekend.
During the weekend there will be a session planned just for you! We hope you take advantage of that time as it will offer a short oasis in a high energy weekend.

Blessings to you as you lead your group!
